Tree work underway beside a residential property

About Canopy Tree Co.

A family owned company, working where we live.

Canopy Tree Co. is family owned and operated. We work in the community we live in, on homes like the ones our own families are in. Tree work is disruptive by nature — heavy material, equipment on your grass, a crew in your yard for a day — so we run it in a way that respects the fact that it is your home.

How we operate

The same sequence on every job.

You hear back quickly

Nobody likes sending a request and hearing nothing. You will know we have your details and what happens next, including if we are not the right fit for the job.

Someone stands under the tree

Estimates come after a site visit. We stand under the tree with you, look at what is underneath it, how equipment gets into your yard, and what your neighbors' side of the fence looks like.

The scope is written down

You should know exactly what you are agreeing to: what is being done, how, what happens to the wood and brush, and what your yard looks like at the end. No instant pricing off a photo.

Scheduling is coordinated

Dates confirmed, access arranged, and a call if weather or a storm week moves things. You get told, so you can plan your week around it.

The property is protected

Your house and yard come first. Drop zones are cleared, sections may be rigged and lowered rather than felled whole, ground protection can be planned for equipment routes, and irrigation and beds are noted before work starts.

Cleanup and documentation

You get your yard back. Brush chipped, wood handled as agreed, the area raked and blown, and photographs of the finished site so you have a record of how it was left.

Tree care is property protection

Every decision on site gets made against one question: what happens to the property if this goes wrong. That is why sections may be rigged rather than felled whole, why access routes are planned before equipment moves, and why the finished site gets photographed. Tree Care. Property Protection.

Storm-damaged trees being cleared from a residential road

Homeowners and families first

Most of our work is on family homes: one property, one family, trees that are close enough to the house to matter.

Families with mature trees over the house

Established properties where the trees are big enough to matter to the roof, the driveway and the fence line — and to whoever is sleeping under them.

People who just bought the place

You inherited the trees along with the house. We will tell you which ones are a problem, which ones are fine, and what can wait.

Anyone who has had a scare

A limb came down in the yard, or a storm went through and the big one leaned. We look at it and give you a straight answer.

We also take on

Additional work beyond family homes

HOAs and neighborhood associations

Common areas, entrances and sight lines, with scopes written so a board can review and approve them.

Property managers

Rental and managed portfolios that need scheduling around tenants and a record of what was done.

Churches and schools

Campuses where the work has to be planned around people, parking and service times.

Commercial and industrial sites

Lots, lanes and fence rows where access and safe operation come before appearance.

Referral partners

Realtors, roofers, restoration companies, landscapers, builders and general contractors who need tree work handled cleanly on their projects.

We work across Monroe, Union County and surrounding communities. Job-specific requirements and the exact scope will be stated in writing; the website does not assume credentials or equipment that have not been confirmed.
